Can I point out that I'm currently 200 miles away?
And how come you haven't got teams, Rob?
*having said all that, that would really be quite a reasonable thing to do...*

I don't mind Chris playing, he did ask. I asked one too many people to participate, so I did the honourable thing and dropped out myself. Chris has only been told his teams because he didn't get a choice, unlike everyone else. When are you back in Manchester? I know who is gonna win... ^^ Sure you do

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2006/4853454.stmyes, yes i am. "Tunisia will secure their ticket to the next round if they beat Ukraine and Saudi Arabia do not defeat Spain. If Tunisia and Saudi Arabia both win, the goal difference / goals scored of the teams will decide who progresses." No problem there then... Even if we do come second, we'll be playing either Switzerland, South Korea or (i hope not) France. Miracle of miracles they get through the Semis and odds are they will be facing Germany or Argentina. Bollocks

I'm just happy Spain won against Tunisia, is it so bad? I don't care if they go to next round or not. Anyway Ben, you knew you were not gonna win that money, didn't you? (As I said before Carwyn is gonna win... Spain and Brazil, good choice!)

Anyway Ben, you knew you were not gonna win that money, didn't you? Spain and Brazil, good choice! Yeah as soon as i got the teams i knew I wasn't going to win. But then, we didn't get to 'choose'. It was random. I was unlucky. Carwyn was very lucky. But i suspect that Steph will win with Arg...

So far Indie Soc are winning (in terms of eliminations, at least. They have more qualifications between them....and better teams, bastardcunts choosing first...)

Last group stage update... Charlie (Chem Eng) | Angola | Togo | Graham (Chem Eng) | Serbia | Ghana | George (Chem Eng) | Mexico | Costa Rica | Sarah (Chem Eng) | Ivory Coast | USA | Steph (Chem Eng) | Switzerland | Argentina | Carwyn (Chem Eng) | Spain | Brazil | Jonny (Chem Eng) | Sweden | England | Arran (Chem Eng) | Australia | Czech Rep | Nat (Indie) | Netherlands | France | Ben (Indie) | Iran | Tunisia | Simindie (Indie) | Portugal | Poland | McV (Indie) | Ecquador | South Korea | Arron (Indie) | Paraguay | Italy | Craig (Indie) | Croatia | Ukraine | Mark (Indie) | Japan | Saudia Arabia | Chris (Indie) and Rob | Trinidad | Germany |
Now the group stages are over, one or two teams will disappear everyday until the final... how exciting. If only the football was as interesting.
