thats true actually, its just the holy bible lyrics i cant understand. they do have some poor lyrics to be fair, but they have some good ones too, and the songs are rather good.

With the early stuff, I don't know who's the bigger genius. Richie, for writing lyrics of that calibre, or James, for somehow fitting them in to a catchy, memorable and accessible tune with FUCK YEAH musical backing. *sigh*
I really like the idea of bands playing. And some sort of visuals, and a chill out area, with music you can get lost in. You know who I mean!

If only there was a way of using the visualisations of iTunes whilst being able to put songs into party shuffle to dj. well I suppose if you wanted an area where no one had to do anything you could just have a an already chosen playlist playing with visualisations.
Oh and obviously i forgot to mention a data projector.

i don't think we can afford fancy things like projectors or pyrotechnics; we'd be limited to someone waving around glow sticks in a corner, or hiring a mime. or some other lame act which passes as 'art'.

What would make a club night more fun and attractive without going against Health and Safety and costing more than its worth? It is kinda like the million dollar question. Seriously, doesn't everyone just go to clubs for a) friends b) a shag c) drinks and / or d) music? Why not just try and improve all these aspects... not sure how though.

As a matter of fact, the DJ program we use has a visualisation thing built into it. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to hook it up to a projector, should we ask Mr Woods very kindly if we could 'borrow' the SU's, but I don't know how to use it (not having had a projector to test it out on, y'see). So no need for iTunes!

Ah very nice indeed. Well if its a proper visulisation program, one that reacts to the music rather than just one like windows media player's *shudders*

Guys, how about an Indie Society Orgy? Don't assume I'm joking, because I'm not. I'm sure it's not illegal, and I'm positive that everyone will be willing!

Well, why would anyone assume that could be anything other than a completely serious suggestion? Would everyone be allowed to join in, or would it be some kind of special privilaged elite? Would we invite Louis Theroux along to make a documentary about it?
