awwwhhhh Jena Malone... I'm not being Donnie Darko, more Frank. It's what Clare said... nm I'll just carry on being some kind of tortured soul or something And Tom, EMBRACE THE STUPIDITY! (it's worked for me)

Hello, I drank very little. Consequently I remember absolutely everything. I know things. I have information. Beware, cowards. But seriously, no Spiritualized, but there was Patrick Wolf, and Idioteque was just perfect. You're all brilliant, I wish we could go on holiday together, or something.

you have no idea how much debating has been going on in the staff only bit about this clubnight (and the next...)
well, you're the people, how can we make it that bit more special? (aside from playing specific songs you requsted...we know we know...)
comments are helpful!

bands would be cool if you could find a suitable venue, and if you could afford it. opportunities for people to DJ. cant really think of that much.

we've tossed the idea of bands round quite a bit and at the moment it's just not happening...saying that, you never know what opportunities will spring up.
as for opportunities for people dj-ing...we're discussing it on monday. i'm glad you said that...backs up the argument in favour
(no promises by the way about anything, ever!)

im sure the bands thing wouldnt be easy to pull off. would be great if it did happen though; pangaea was brilliant, although im not sure that really needs saying again! the DJing thing would be quite cool, but i would imagine it could cause some friction. its also out of your hands, so you have no idea what might be played. i really would like to give it a go, but im not sure if many people would appreciate some of the things i would want to play.

Okay i've maybe been a bit slow to add my comments here, but anyway... No-one tried to kiss me, and i am very very offended. Also, i completely missed the Julia/Natalie action, and i'm truely truely disappointed. I remember dancing to Faster, and i remember no-one else on the dance floor seemed to know the words, and i felt very strange jumping around sort of on my own. Still, it was a good night, and the quality of the music overall was very good. I thought it was comfortably better than the rock room.

i know most of the words to faster, when im sober that is. i find it difficult to pick up manics lyrics though. im usually quite good, but i dont have a clue with most of their songs unless i look them up.

ahh i love the manics. more than words can say. i'm not too good with the holy bible though, he sings too fast and too aggressively to hear what he's saying. the later albums though...so slow you can practically write them down. i know most of the lyrics from this is my truth tell me yours. some aren't so good...'the world is full of refugees/they’re just like you and just like me.' dear god. and you know 'intravenous agnostic'? those lyrics might just be the worst in the world.

BUT THE SONG IS FANTASTIC AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS i love the tune. For once, i'm being poppy and just listening to the tune. That's allowed!
