seems interesting, it's out on the 18th of august n is richard linklater's follow-up to 'waking life' as far as the cinematic style is concerned... 'rotoscoping' is the name of the technique, used to make real acting seem charicatured and cartoony... the times did an article on it yesterday; entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,14931-2294479,00.html the film itself is taken from a novel by the philosophising phillip k dick, but this is mentioned in the article in any case it's being shown at the cornerhouse

I also wanted to see that one with Gael Garcia Bernal dressed up in rabbit ears ('The Science of Sleep', maybe?) but I didn't go...
