Did anyone see it last night? I thought it was hilarious, and I rarely get excited by TV. For obvious reasons, it felt very very 'The Day Today' and lots of nice dark humour (e.g. the blood stains on the hands of weathermen - very funny!). I loved how the 'celebs' looked back to the 2005-2010 period. The TOTP2 thing was so well observed! The entire programme feels so genuine. Oh, and the 'Changes' bit at the end... that was just amazing. (video clips of Tony Blair and David Cameron singing the lyrics of said song by David Bowie - it followed a montage of clips from party conferences of everytime TB/DC said 'changes' or 'changing' etc... very clever - it reminded me of Monkey Dust, so a little depressing...).
If you missed it last night, you have to see it next week! Thursdays, 10pm, BBC 2.

i did indeed miss it, since the house was out for Mark's birthday at Jilly's. We had a good night, but most rooms (except the emo room) were pretty empty, APU. I was gutted when i remembered i had missed it. Next Week I shall watch it.

I saw it Rob, it was bloody brilliant! It did indeed have a very The Day Today vibe. Tony Blair seeing ghosts and angels! Awesome!
