I'm not too fussed about being that near the front for anything to be honest. I'd much prefer to see more bands that I want to see. I don't mind missing starts/ends of some sets. HOTS I would like to see the whole thing though, coz they usually start and end with awesome tunes!

I booked me tickets I did!
Took me a fooking hour.
The Sunshine Underground, HOTS, Benjamin Wetherill, t'Pigeons, Gideon Conn, 65dos and Dartz! are probably where I'll go, though probably not in anything like that order or probably not at all if I'm anything like as chaotically disorganised as normal.

I'm sure it's a case of first come first served and they let you buy tickets as a sort of security measure to avoid disappointment. Right guys? Guys?!

I'm assuming it's for travel...
I've realised I DEFINITELY can't come, by the way, it's my sister's birthday on Saturday, and I'm gonna be in Burrminnum.

Well, there's absolutely no way I could possibly match Chris were we to engage in mortal combat. He's at least four times taller than me and also he knows things. He's trained in at least seventeen ancient arts, such as that of rendering. He's an excellent renderer. So...pool of blood...shit, SECOND PRIZE, YOU SHOULD SEE THE OTHER GUY.....not a mark on him.

I'm gon'ba'e'ye'un'!!!!!! Any chance of a direct translation of that? That has to be possibly the best post ever. It had me nearly in tears with laughter! ;D

"Would you mind if I were to challenge you to a duel, as is the observed tradition within our social circles." is indeed the more decorous response, but if one were to translate the aforementioned phrase verbatim, it would become something more akin to "I am going to batter thee one". In this case, batter implies a physical beating (although it is worth noting that I would never use physical force, which I refer to as the... etc.etc.
I'm tired now.

That Scott Walker song you sent me (Carla) was the best thing I've EVER heard EVER. Thank you.

The tickets were for travel... everything is free at MML. Although, if a big band are playing, I suggest you get to the venues early. They still have maximum numbers...
Catie, yes, please come...

Shit! What about outdoor stages (if there are any...), can't you just stand at the back of those? I won't be too gutted about HOTS, coz I'm seeing them on monday, but there's lots of other stuff I really wanna see.

I imagine the Empire will get really busy, but the Town Hall is pretty big anyway. I saw a large queue develop for the Ordinary Boys a few years ago. The outdoor stages should be OK, lots of drunk people laid about, but you can step over them...

Rob, do I have to bring a sleeping bag and accessories of such a kind?
Being as I'm arriving on the Sunday morning itself I'll have to cart it/them around Middlesbrough all day...so I wondered if perhaps I might be so cheeky as to require any spares you might have. I don't mind bringing my own sleeping bag, though, if you have none - I'm sure I can find somewhere in the town to dump it, whereupon it can later be suspected as a bomb.
God, why don't I just ask you this on MSN. Your forum has drawn me into its conniving ways...

By the way, can everyone bring a towel and a sleeping bag if possible? If you can't bring the latter, that is cool we'll find some blankets for you. It looks like we will now be taking over the living room for the weekend as the gazebo is looking as healthy as I remember...

I'm sure the gazebo will be fine. As long as it doesn't rain too much, I'll be Ok under the stars.
