...seemed like the best place to post this... Is there anyone out there willing to teach me the basics of piano/keyboard? Nothing complex...jus a few chords, maybe even two hands! Who knows. I want to learn cos I attempt to play some keys in my band back home but they laugh at my ineptitude. Ideally we could come to an arrangement whereby I teach you some guitar, thus no monetary issues arrise. This is not essential though, as this does seem a bit of a longshot. (Ive been playing various guitars for 10+ years, and i taught a bit back home down south.) Not any metal malarky mind, but fingerpicking styles/chords/theory- maybe beginner to intermediate.
I currently reside in owens park, with a small casio and some guitars for company, so if you're intrested please email me or post something. Jus in case you're wondering what music is in my head at the moment, an abridged list:
james yorkston, six organs of admittance, bonny billy, devendra B, arcade fire, fourtet, sufjan stevens, explosions in the sky, gy!be...

that would be rather cool. I'm terribly out of practice, but I can play Piano to Grade 6/7 standard (never took grade 7, but almost did) last time i was any good. I have only been playing guitar for 4 years, so i'm probably miles off your skill I wouldn't mind trying to teach you to play if not simply so I could play again myself at some point.

Mr Chairman this sounds ideal. Out of practice or not doesn't matter the slightest. The bad news is that I am currently ill, but my health is returning! So in a week or so i'll send you an email, if you're still willing that is. And thank you for your interest!
