fantastic. well let me know, cause that'd really help us out. alex and i need a drummer for our band and we also need a place to practice, so you would solve both of our problems at once

Currently, we have Alex and myself, \alex on keyboards, me on guitar and maybe vocals, we have a bassist lined up who lives in alex's halls, and er..you on drums? Vocally we aren't 100% sure who we want, but i'm sure we could find somebody. personall i'd like a female vocalist, but that's only because i think there arent enough female fronted bands. yes.

Ben, did the band with you and alex ever get going? I'd be rather interested to see what your music was like.

sadly not. alex has buggered off to spain I'm still trying to get one together. I'm still frustrated by drummers, but I have a guitarist, and a synth player (elliot and lauren respectively). elliot can play keyboards however, and we could perhaps have one being a 'bass' synthist. or something. i dunno. maybe all we need is a drum machine. or arron to buy a drum kit, since he wants to play.

JESUS...just because I own a keyboard it doesn't mean I can use it with anything approaching competancy. I only recently learned how to form chords! I'm sorry...but I did warn you! HOWEVER, erm...I'm not bad at all at guitar...that's to say that I'm fairly competant...and I own a lot of percussive devices and I have quite a few ideas...so....hmn, I COULD still be of use to you, I'll let you be the judge of that.

Lauren is a synth player? That sounds very interesting! I'm interested in being in this band if you want me to be. I can do vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, and err, that's it i think. Can't play drums as my sense of rythym is tragic.

it's a shame that there aren't enough drummers. apparently Lauren's housemate, Jonny, is a drummer. SCORE. we shall force him to bring his drums up to uni and we shall practice, yes we shall.

Apparently I am being "NOT ALLOWED" to bring my piano from non-university home to university-home, which is greatly annoying, as the only reason I chose the room in our beautiful new falling-apart house was because it was the only one shaped conveniently enough to house said piano.
I would like to launch an investigation into Why Parents Won't Allow Their Children To Play Their Piano Anymore Unless The Playing Of The Piano Occurs Solely In Wakefield, please. I feel it is a pressing issue.
I am currently working on a plan to subtly remove Forbidden Piano from Wakefield and transport Forbidden Piano to Manchester with the least possible fuss. Anyone want to join the Secret Piano Removal Stealth Team?
But yeah, Ben, I'll play. If I can't use my own keys, I'll HUNT SOME OTHER KEYS DOWN.

This is more or less exactly like the last thirty minutes of Free Willy. We'll distract "The Rents" with an explosion and then hoist the ivories into the back of a van (we'll return for the ebonies later) and speed towards the nearest body of water, taking care to keep the piano doused and moist in transit, with a hose. This piano WILL end up leaping over one of us. Well, this person, WHOEVER IT MAY BE, will have to gently tease and tickle the pianic undercarriage whilst it passes overhead. But seriously, I have a stepsister who has a collection of keyboards...she has about five of them, and she said that I can have one of them if I so wish...hey, I so wish, does this solve the crisis? These are big keyboards, and they have pitch shifters and everything, and strings! And I also have a small Casio for sampling...this device has become legendary in some circles because it can imitate dogs and it once inadvertedly "sampled" Alex...thus completely wiping all of my carefully recorded and treated samples...I had eerie ambient soundscapes and everything! Shit...I've recently been recording feedback, WITH HILARIOUS RESULTS and a sickening impact.

FUCKING GET THEM BOTH TO MANCHESTER. especially the nicest keyboard, with pitch shift (i want dodgy sounding sawtooth effects pitch shifted up 11 semitones, so that when we play we get horrible dissonance. but nobody really notices because the keyboard is so high, and it leaves you feeling only slightly uncomfortable, until lauren pushes just a little bit further, and you ejaculate as light relief)

Oh, poor Willy and his floppy dorsal.

I also think maybe they were methylated
But yeah, LET'S MAKE SOME SONIC LOVE, EVERYONE

I can sorta play keyboards, and I have a keyboard, but I don't know if it has a plug. That said, it used to my sister's, and is a lovely shade of lilac. Maybe that'd be kinda good...
