Yeah, my hometown was in the book too, but I can't see it there. Loads of other places are though. Loads and loads! One can only conclude that Britain is, in fact, a total dump.

(reading owen's): "Portsmouth is also home to the hoards of moorlock, anti paedophile mobs who attacked the home of a paediatrician."
hahahahaha...

I bought a copy of the first book of crap towns from the Oxfam where I worked and read it front to back, once. Didcot was in there, and the picture in the book was of a Tourist Information board.
There was nothing written on it.

I remember that. I actually have the book here: 'Didcot is growing out of control. Its grey mass spreads out rapidly, showing as much respect for the surrounding greenery as a malignant tumour does for a pair of lungs.' Lovely.

I really should be going to bed now, hopefully some Mercury Rev'll help... I hate that I'm dependent on Windows Media Player, it just makes me feel dirty!

for still being online, silly! anyway, i'm off now since the download has finished xx Dude, i'm not your mother... What were you downloading? I hope it was Elephant by the White Stripes, or possibly the Manics' first album. Did you know your music collection is woefully lacking?

HAH! shows how old your music collection is! I own Elephant now! Tsh! I'm still working on GT, but i'll find it somewhere, no doubt. It was a chilled out mix'tape' that somebody made for a community i'm on. it's very..er..pretty! I'm going to fall asleep to it xx

Spennymoors the closest to me, its definitly crap but i would have thought its far too dull for anyone to write about
I've also learnt the man who invented matches was from stockton and the band who sang agadoo were from wakefield, enlightening!

Fuck knows why Swansea isn't on there. Can you write your own? I liked the one for Port Talbot; that place really is a shithole.
