Yes, a lovely Indie-themed afternoon of fun. A scavenger hunt between 2-4pm of our last Wednesday before the Easter holidays.
More details on how it will work and a possible clubnight/event after will come soon.
Clear your diaries!

yep, me and loz are arranging this one, so if goes tits up you know who to boo...but we were plotting it today and so far so good. prizes will be awarded so there's some incentive for you to come. for bea's benefit you're basically in teams (3 or 4, depending on how many turn up) and then we give you a list of items, answers and stuff you need to go and find. whoever gets the most wins. more details to follow....but you'd better be there cos its a bloody effort to do!

well we thought that too, so there's gonna be a few things we want you to pick up, but for the most part it'll be finding answers, like a quiz...its a nice stroll around manchester if nothing else

Could someone just explain to me what a scavenger hunt is? Does it involve much alcoholic consumption?

scavenger, in the David Attenborough sense of the word, means something like... eats anything to survive.
so i guess, you could apply that to alcohol. have you never gone round a club, finishing people's drinks!?

I did that once at a house-party, whilst drunk. It was great fun, but I think I cut a quite-valuable cigar in half.

thats quite disgusting. a scavenger hunt is where you go around an area with a bunch of clues, and either have to work things out with the help of your surroundings, or you have to collect certain items that can only be found in specific places. i think...

you dont know what might be in it though. lots of people put cigarette ash and butts into nearly finished drinks. a friend of mine also occasionally pisses in a glass under the table if he cant be arsed to go to the toilets. i think those are good enough reasons.

there will be no pissing in glasses, or drinking dodgy ash filled warm alcohol...but i suppose you could make a drinks stop off...but it'd waste your valuable time and points gaining opportunity. anyway...the clubnight is for drinking!
its pretty easy. we couldn't be arsed with all that cryptic bollocks.
in the words of pat sharpe: it's a whole lot of fun, prizes to be won
