to be fair lisa, *i* was there to DJ, and you were a guest at the party. basically, you want the easy part of running a club? dont we all? Let me guess, you keep the profits too?

I think at the next clubnight someone else (*cough*BEN*cough) should sit on the door. It's not a fun job.

no way would i keep the profits, if someone was doing all the hard work for me they'd get lots of money...i wouldn't need it anyway. i'm a millionnaire. i mean, i'd sit in at meetings and put in lots of work. i'm just no good at business. so it would be silly for me to try. also, i didn't post the above, that was andrew....but i do agree.

i had a little fiddle about with mine this morning, and im quite happy with it. will give it a proper listen through sometime. it will need a bit of mixing if i actually get to play it though, as theres a couple of crappy bits on the end of songs that i dont want. i couldnt fit in any MC honky or SFA though, which i wanted.

If it goes over 29:59 it's disqualified.
Just kidding. Seriously, we're not nazis. anything up to 35 minutes is probably allowable, but just be reasonable.

The important thing is that your list of tracks is well thought out and in a reasonably sensible order. We probably won't hold you to the list and the order on the night as long as its reasonably similar.

i thought that was exactly what we were doing Tev? If we didnt do that then things could go wrong, like people could want songs that we don't have, etc. The setlist they submit is the one they would be playing.

yeah ideally the winner plays their set, cos then people can hear what actually won. but if they deviated slightly i don't suppose it would be the end of the world....

Do i HAVE to make a CD? It's just that's not very easy for me, since I don't really have a computer in my room, so it isn't easy.

As long as we have a setlist, we'll judge... get it in quickly though, you only have until tomorrow evening lunchtime!

And the winner is (if you didn't know already)... [glow=red,2,300] ELAINE![/glow]
Congratulations. I won't post the setlist, as we can leave it as a surprise for the night. It is very good though. Also, we did have a joint winner, BEA, but unfortunately, she will not be able to come to the club night and DJ her set. But it was good too! The losers had some really good music in their's too, so don't be surprised to hear many of the tunes, but may I say now, I am starting a related poll in Random Chat...

Congratulations to Elaine and myself (weeeeee are the champions, my friend...) And just in the case you're confused, I *will* go to the club night, but after the Hope of the States gig. Oh! I really wanted to dj, will it be possible for me to do it in Pangaea? I want to be able to say to my friends in Spain that I have dj-ed in Manchester!!
