as you may have read in the email we sent out, we are indeed planning a christmas party for you darlings at our house (by our house i mean me, craig, ben, tev, random and mark...and laura who i don't think you've met). the date will be december the tenth (saturday), the location is 21 balmoral road, fallowfield...(near sainsurys/the battered cod...map will hopefully be on here soon, or just ask us) and the time...erm...party o clock...we'll let you know... as the email said, we are looking for people to do a short accoustic set, cos it'd be lovely, so all you talented people get in touch with alex to arrange something...cos if you don't we may have to suffer ben's singing all night... only joking ben we'd love it if everyone turned up, whether you're part of the indie hard core or if you've never been to one of our events before. it'd be nice if you could let us know if you're coming so we can get an idea of numbers.

Errr, well in non accoustic form, it's sort of punky melodic lo-fi. Accousticaly though, i've been told my songs are a bit Bright Eyes-ish, though i think they're less good. Also, some of them are considerably sillier. You can download one of the 1st, and silliest songs i ever wrote here: www.themidlandrailway.co.uk/downloads.phpIt's all about online football management.

so erm, just to clarify, we are able to provide drink and beer, it's just that if you want to drink what you really like, it might be best to bring some of your own stuff. i really hope lots of people come. our house needs lots of people in it. drum up as many indie soc people as possible!

I guess a party full of indie people could be counted as one thing...
then again...a Christmas party full of indie people could be counted as one thing too...:s

hmm, is this bribery or blackmail? What do *i* get for giving you more of this completely metaphysical thing known as karma? in fact, one questions really whether it is mine to give, or even if i can give it at all. There's a button for it, but does that really translate to.... sorry, ramble mode

you know, that when you're drunk at a christmas party, the best thing that can happen is for someone to put on a singalong shit song on...precious moments...especially when you see the tragic photos the day after

i know, i know... ...still think they're bad though...but yeah, you're right... as long as it's not Macca, i'll be happy

eels have got a couple of christmas songs. theres a badly drawn boy version of merry christmas (war is over) which is quite good. im sure we could scrape together a playlist of relatively good christmas songs!

Maybe it should be a game to play before the big night? We find as many as possible and that decide the best on the night...
