I'm sorry Arron, she was whining at me down the phone (proper Oxford spoilt brat whining) and threatened to come over unless I told her. I had no other choice.

tsh.....head count of who is coming please.
as i am sure natalie will explain/mock me for, i am distressingly organised, and need to have everything planned, at least 3 months in advance.
SO GIVE ME DETAILS, OR MY OCD WILL KICK IN AND I WILL HAVE A NERVOUS BREAK DOWN.

bah, who needs organisation? whoever wants to go just turn up on the day, someone tells us what trains we need to get, then we go to the gig. then we end up on somebodys floor. it doesnt matter who's. then we all make our way back somehow or other. its simple really.

I need organisation Tom, and I can't see how people can be happy turning up in a city they don't know, that isn't the safest in the world and assuming that they have somewhere to stay. I don't have unlimited floor space, and as it may well be my house you 'end up at' I think the common courtesy of knowing that people MAY be using my house shouldn't be treated quite so negatively. And if one person doesn't show an element of organisation then things tend to go rather disastrously wrong. I don't care if this sounds over the top, but it is my house people may end up at, for which I am completely responsible for as my parents are away. Frankly, I'd appreciate a slightly more polite attitude towards this being as I'm going out of my way for you.

Organisation is proper important...I wrote an essay about it in my exam last week. so it must be true.
I'm not going to this because I don't really like Performance...but yeah...bleh.

sorry catie, i didnt mean to be disrespectful to you, thats just my views on organising things. i am coming, and i would like some floor-space please, although i will probably decide on the night who's floor i will end up on.
Simon: you saw how much organisation i put into the blackpool trip. did it come off just as planned? of course it did! ;D

We organised our trip and now we have a fuck off huge panda sitting in our Living room. this is conclusive proof that organisation is best.

then again, i organised my trip to blackpool, and it was absolute bollocks. mainly due to the weather. hopefully wakefield will be more successful, even though i prefer radiohead to performance. just a little.

Julia you won't have to book trains or anything, they leave for Leeds all the time (which is where you'd be going, and then changing to get one to Waaakefield). Wakefield trains are also stupidly frequent. I assume yr exam will finish about 5ish at the latest? No probs, get the free bus up to Piccadilly and hop on the next Leeds train that arrives. It'll take about 30-40 mins to get there. There'll be a connecting Wakefield train not too long after, so hop on that. You'll probably be in Wakefield for about 6:45. Give me a call when you're on the Leeds train and I'll go to Wakefield to meet you. SORTED LIKE ;D Don't know what time everyone else is going (I'll already be in Yorkshire) but believe me it's no problem if you end up going alone 'cause I'll make sure you're okay.

that's all very good to know. who needs a mother when you have nat? OMG this is so cool. the last time i went to yorkshire was to a rubbish little village in the hills with the hiking club. and performance did not perform.

;D it's alarming that I like the idea of being the Indie Soc mother, though I feel I'd be more of the reckless wild auntie, myself.
Well, in comparison to Catie, that is.

hop on the next Leeds train that arrives. It'll take about 30-40 mins to get there. Bit optimistic innit, love? We're talking minimum 50 minutes to an hour and twenty max, depending on if you're on a new ace train or a shit old one. They alternate. Irregularly. People might be best checking www.nationalrail.co.uk/planmyjourney for a time estimate and to see which route you're on and whatnot. Wouldn't want ya getting trains too late and then going "Why the b*stard aren't I there yet..." etc etc etc. That's my twopennorth.

Oh and when you're in Leeds station, don't get on a train to Wakefield Kirkgate, get one to Wakefield Westgate. The former takes longer and probably involves death by hypodermic needle.
Yeah I double posted, blah blah blah *
*wow I didn't, Catie, beat me to it. Saved.
