i was being mildly ironic with the term indie kid. hence the apostrophes. i just think that most people who are perceived as such tend to like indie more than any other kind of music. and lots of them devote a large amount of time to it, which it's harder to do with lots of different genres. but it's probably better to have eclectic taste than encyclopaedic knowledge of only one genre.

i was in night and day once and one of the people from oxfam originals was saying to this guy "but you don't LOOK indie..." and the other guy said "...do i have to?"
i think that says it all.

hehe I'm liking the way thom's posting. You should hide stuff in the gap in the middle like this: In our last episode, Burnt Face Man's partner in crime Haddock-Boy was kidnapped by Man- Spider and held captive in his oven of doom....It'll be our little secret SECRET PART OF POST: Would you like to play a game of Mel Gibson's Safari?

But it's still the Indie House, because even though it's not terribly indie, it's the original house to gather in as well as where the majority of the current committee live. I think many will agree that Balmoral now holds a special place in our hearts. That having been said, our house will beat yours by FUCKLOADS.
