am i even allowed to join a society this long after freshers week?!

who cares if its indie or not. its good music, and thats all that matters really. in fact, i think its better in a way when people listen to a bit of everything, rather than just being stuck in one genre

I guess he could be counted as indie, but either way it doesn't matter...as he's ace... I mean, I'm still luffing new the Kanye West album...and I'm pretty sure he definitely can't be classed as Indie...

i really like gold digger, and i gave the album a listen, and was really impressed actually. i should listen to it again sometime. and no, there is no way you can class him as indie!

most mainstream rap/hip-hop music i'm not keen on, but he's a very big exception to the rule...he's probably my favourite hip-hop artist...after Roots Manuva perhaps... but yes. won't hijack the thread... erm...welcome to the indie socieity forum Charlie!

the next one's 400 i believe. i dunno. there are a lot of rankings. it took me and ben a long time to think of them and they still ended up as not very good

i actually changed it so it's 350, so tom actually hit it before he finished university i thought it's a bit silly otherwise. I might add a few more rankings, edit some, if that's okay? If i think of anything good anyway.

If you ask me, you should be more than a cheap groupie, simply because you like Rufus. And that makes you so much better than a lot of people. ;D
I'm going to see him at the Apollo. My (considerably richer) friend is going to the Apollo and to the Sheffield gig (where's he playing? the Octagon?). Needless to say, I am jealous.
Welcome to the forum!

The City Hall is a very Rufus-like venue - he'll be quite at home there I'm sure! Have been counting down the days for a long time now. 21 to go.... ;D What do you think to Martha Wainwright's stuff? I adore her - she has a gig at Academy 2 next week, for which I have tickets.
