You could always go to Pangaea for the bands, and leave soon after they've finished, have a half decent nights sleep, and then head of to Download earlyish in the morning to get there by 12.

i would DIE.
plus i don't think vf allow it.
i've emailled them this morning about actual attendance seeing as i haven't heard from them yet SO there is still a chance that i might be going...

Oh wow, here's a moral dialemma. Say hypothetically Alex doesn't get to go to Download...do we mourn with her, appreciating the crushing disappointment she'd be feeling, or do we rejoice in the fact that she gets to go to Pangea? I just don't know, we'll play it by ear.

If Alex does go to Download, we will celebrate the fact by thinking about her, and playing some of her favourite music. If (hypothetically) she doesn't go to Download, we will celebrate the fact she is with us by playing some of her favourite music. Hopefully the music and our celebratory moods will cheer her up a little. Whatever happens, Oceansize *will* be played. That is all I have to say on the matter.

It was a good one people! ;D Yes! Now, sleep would be a good idea... Lucky for some eh, Tom? Others amongst us have to do such things as disinfect a microwave a mere three hours after they got back to their house. Don't EVER do this unless you can help it - we've just been re-introduced to almost every single meal we've cooked in this flat since September. It's a harrowing experience... ...I want to sleep.

All I can say is I wish I could have spent more time in other places cos they all looked amazing! I think everyone who did the real organising for it, pulled through big time and it was seriously good. ;D What can I say about sleep? Pffft sleep is for losers (or rather those who can actually fall asleep) but saying that I'm fine!

it was quality - real good night (even though i'm not much of a louie fan) All I can say is I wish I could have spent more time in other places cos they all looked amazing! i had a wander round most places and they were all pretty good, dancing around outside was crazy as well because from about half three it was practically daytime :S - talking of insomnia some bands decided to play really loud outside the tower ruining my sleep

The whole thing was just mind-numbingly awesome! I could have spent all night in at least 3 different arenas. I'm really glad I mixed things up a little. I've heard just about everything played in our room before, but I've never danced to psychadelic trance (that's how the music at Illuminaughty outside was described to me) before, I really enjoyed loads of the short films in the cinema, sipping blackcurrant tea while everyone else was drinking alcohol was a delight, it was all just awesome. I did come crawling back to Insomnia at the end though.

I just remembered it just before the video loaded, which was odd... Does anybody remember Fork-lift Truck Drive Klaus? *edit* awwww, it stops at the point where the guy lifts up his salami-wrists!
